Imagine if a cool $Mill or so landed on your porch - a tax-free gift. What would you buy or do with it?

First I'd buy a large home in the middle of who knows where with acreage and outbuildings. Maybe spend even half of it on the land so there'd be plenty to share but distance between homesteads.

Next, college funds for the kids and maybe even funding to finish my own degree, too. Let's see, that's about $30K a year for 4 years for them and 3 for me. Now we're up to $650K leaving $350K to go.

Then play money for Ed since he's deserving of truckloads of leisure and fun and pampering. Maybe a mountain cabin on a hunting lease or something. Might be nice to have a cozy getaway. Roughly $100K for him to play.

25% might be a small start into money making ventures, who knows. I'd like to give it a shot. Now where do you find the first $M?
